Woodbine Neighbourhood Centre (WNC) is managed by voluntary Office Bearers and members known as the Management Committee or sometimes known as the Board.
The Management Committee meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month, 12.30pm at the centre. A light lunch is provided. Membership is open to all members and residences of Macarthur Region.
WNC Board encourages and looks for Community members who have an interest in making a difference within their local community. You may have expertise in various areas which may include; human resources, accounts, work for another not-for-profit organisation and have knowledge of the local community’s needs.
To become a Management Committee Member you must be a financial member of the Association, the cost is $2 per year. Even if you don't want to be on the Management Committee we ask community members to become members of the Association to show support and to ensure that WNC remains a healthy organisation, to continue its community-based focus.
Applications to become a Management Committee member are open at the WNC Annual General Meeting which is held once a year however; we encourage and welcome new applications throughout the year.
Our office is located on the land of the Dharawal Nation. We pay respects to all Aboriginal Elders, past and present, and to the children of today who are the elders of tomorrow.
