The Woodbine Neighbourhood Centre (WNC) welcomes, encourages and supports the involvement of the community through volunteering. By becoming at WNC you have the opportunity to provide valuable assistance and meaningful contributions to the local community.
Volunteer roles include:
Assisting in Playgroup and other programs when required
Social Media and other promotional duties
Assisting with administration duties
Developing promotional material examples; in house flyers, newsletter
Assisting at WNC’s coordinated Events
At times WNC may seek volunteers who maybe retired experienced educators and/or who have the expertise in specific areas for example:
Healthy cooking (nutrition and health)
Children’s development
Music for pre-schoolers
Pilates for young mums
Art Classes for people with depression
We welcome volunteers from all ages, cultural backgrounds and areas of experience. Unless otherwise stated, the minimum age for volunteering is 18 years of age. Volunteer opportunities are advertised through Macarthur Volunteering or please phone (02) 4625 1254 to enquire about availabilities.
WNC carries out the following compulsory checks at no cost to the applicant:
